What's in a domain name?

Coexist Design offers a range of domain name registration services. For the most part, we are used to seeing dot-com, dot-net, dot-org and dot-ca names (.com, .net, .org and .ca). There is also a host of other international domain names, such as dot-jp for Japan and dot-au for Australia.

We offer single-year registrations as well as multi-year registrations.

dot-com, dot-org, dot-net, dot-ca - $25/1 year, $85/5 years

Note: It is important that your domain names be registered to you or your business. This way, should you ever need to contact the registrar about the domain, you will be able to. If the company you hired to purchase your domain does so in their name and they go out of business or other, you don’t need to worry about securing your domain name.

Expiring Domains

When a domain name expires, there is a redemption period where you can still re-register the domain, usually at the same cost as a regular registration.  However, once this period elapses, usually after 30 days, the domain should become available.  Some registrars like to employ an "extended redemption period".  This seems to be when they purchase the domain name and then try to resell it to you at a much higher cost.
