Coexist Design offers stable, reliable hosting solutions on a Windows platform. Currently, our servers are Windows 2003-based AMD machines connected to redundant backbones to provide maximum quality and reliability.
What is hosting?
Hosting is a service that makes your web pages available to anyone connected to the Internet. This is accomplished by using a computer with the correct hardware and software to make it possible. The pages may be made public, so they are available to everyone, or private so only authenticated users can access them.
Additionally, hosting provides the location for your email to wait to be retrieved. When someone sends an email to you@yourdomain.ca it needs a place to wait until you use a mail client or web-based email management software to view/edit/delete the message.
Hosting is also useful for moving large files. We offer FTP services as well to assist with this process.
